I wish that I might be successful in my search. I hope the private lawyer will help. I'd like to see my birthmother and birthfather. If only I knew where I came from...

Today I'll be turning 21. I'll be filing for my non-id information with the county office. I'll be writing to the private law firm that handled my adoption, and asking them for help. (I still don't know what to write to them.. help!)

My adoptive family will take me out to dinner, where I'll end up wondering where the other set of relatives are.. the ones I've never met... the ones who resemble me.

A birthday is a bittersweet holiday for me. I celebrate the day of my birth, Feb. 17, 1977, and wonder if the people sitting across the restaurant could be my parents. They're about the right age.. the woman @ 35 and the man a little older..(I have no idea how old my birthfather was, but my birthmother was 15 at my birth).

I wonder if my birthmother has had any other children, as I sit and talk with my sister and brother at the dinner table. I wonder if I may have seen my birthmother without knowing it, since I live in the town I was adopted in.
