Matthew and I just returned from visiting with his family. The trip was a three day drive there just to visit Arizona.

On our trip, Matthew and I contemplated possibly moving one day to Phoenix.. we would be closer to Ann, and also to Matthew's parents.. of course I've never lived so far away from Georgia for very long! The desert is beautiful there, and thoughts of Utah kept drifting into my head.. wishing that we could have made it to Utah also.. the three day drive was about all Matthew could take.. since he had to do all of the driving.

I tried to get the first photo scanned better, but the transition to the web didn't go as well as I thought.. maybe it needs some more work with Photoshop. Ann recently started collecting all of the emails we have sent to each other, as well as some journal entries relating to our relationship.. I'm amazed at how long this body of writing is.. over 160 pages of back and forth writing since March 31, 1998.. the day we started corresponding.
