School days drag with snail tails.
Summer flies with the glimmering
lightning bugs,
blinking so fast you
almost miss it.
Summer loves flit in and out.
Days seem longer and
the nights shorter.
Heat boils your face
and stars smooth the soul
with shimmering rays.
