The Love That Breathes Within

My face, enigmatic moon,
glows in the darkening sky.
My eyes are gleaming jewels
in an ebony felt night.
My lips caress a sound
and my teeth click sharp and bright.
a phrase sifts over my tongue
in sinuous sliding waves.
My fingers brush with
tender touch,
a stroke upon your skin.
A kiss, a look, a laugh,
show the love that
breathes within.
